Moms who have had unmedicated childbirth, I want to have an idea what its like I plan on having a natural birth plan. When I had my first son I was induced and had the epidural I hated being so immobile

I think it is different for everyone, but mine was so fast that I couldn't have had an epidural if I wanted it. It was 2 hours 20 minutes from first contraction to baby in arms. I arrived at the hospital at 10cm and had to wait until my doc got there to push. A few pushing contractions and he was here.

I got a walking epidural. I still got to go to the bathroom

definitely somethin you have to be 100% about or you'll wanna give up and back out

I went 27 hours with no pain medicine/epidural, was on pitocin the whole time. I'm so used to kidney stones that the contractions didn't hurt at all. Need an awesome support system and relax in between contractions as much as possible

I am a FTM and had my baby at a birth center so no pain meds at all and no inductions at all. 100% natural. It's hard but so worth it!! The contractions hurt more than the birth it's self in my opinion. It feels like a really big poop that is hard to push out (if that helps at all?)
