My husband put my 3 month old baby on his stomach to sleep..... will he be ok? don't want him to…

Never put him on his stomach a no no he supposed to be on his back

@meandmydaughterjamilliya, my sitter said her grandson that's 8 month old died because the parents put oh his back and he vomited and choke and died.... so she puts my son on tummy to sleep and so does my other gf that has a 4 month old

Definitely a no no!! at least wait until he is 11months to start letting him sleep on his stomach. My daughter would always move on to her belly throughout the night when she was younger I would always panic waking up to her on her belly after she hit 11months I was okay with it. Everyone has their own way of parenting! When my daughter started walking that's when I would just let her lay on her stomach. A baby at 3months younger then 10 or 11 it is much riskier for SIDS. But just to be on the safe side it's best not to.

you can put them

on there stomach if they can turn there head back and forth will no problem or turn on there side alone . my son had great neck control since a few weeks . he slept on his stomach but supervised he was more comfy that way . by 2 months old he could turn from his back to his side so i wasnt worried about suffocating

but i wouldnt tell you to do it though !! keep your baby on his back unless your really watching your baby !!

@jeanetta25, thanks.... he is freaking sound asleep. he was fighting his sleep for 6 hours..... put him on swing, bouncy,carseat, bed, a l for course all monitored by my husband and I..... THE SECOND HE PUT HIM ON HIS TUMMY.... when right to sleep

My son sleeps on his stomach as long as he's supervised. He doesn't like sleeping on his back so we had to do whatever works

My sons been sleeping on his belly since he gained neck control. He never liked sleeping on his back and always woke himself up with his startle reflex and not being comfortable. I wouldnt worry as long as your baby has neck control and you check on him often @babytj0214

It goes away as they develop more neurologically but it really interfered with my sons sleep when he was on his back. To this day he sleeps on his belly and is most comfy that way. Ur the mom do what works best for you and your baby @babytj0214

My daughter rolled over on her stomach and I turned her over so quick.. she sleeps on her side. She likes it but I put her on her back.. just be careful
