How many ultrasound did you ladies get during a "normal" pregnancy? My insurance says i only get 2…

I was only going to get 2 then I became high risk and have one every week now. But usually it is 2

It's a good thing when the doctor doesn't order more. And my baby is healthy as can be. I am just having issues luckily he is fine.

I was only supposed to get 2, but I had to get the anatomy scan repeated at 24 weeks because they didn't get all the pictures they needed of the heart. I don't get another until after 40 weeks if I still haven't had him.

3 n that's it (2 but i opted for genetic testing so I got the extra one)

I had 3

i got 2 for my first pregnancy

I had 16 and one that we paid out of pocket

Okay thank you ladies. This my first so i just wanted see my little one as much as possible but i guess we only get 2 times. 😊

My doctor does one every visit, so far I've had 2 and another on Thursday

I will have 3 my whole pregnancy, I had one at 8 weeks, then I had the antomy scan at 21 weeks and then I will have one a month before the baby is due to check to see a rough estimate to see how big the baby is

I have no clue what my insurance says since im still under my dads lol. im 19. but ive had two ultrasounds and a heart ultrasound and possibly more. thats with vermont insurance.

thats what happenrd to me!!(the heart ultrasound thingy) @babybue16 but I was lucky my son was in perfect postion and being really good doctors got good pictures the second time

@beanieboo, my husband was really worried when they called us to say they needed to do another one, but it seems really common. I've read posts by a lot of women that had to do repeats for more heart views. Fortunately, they got good pictures with my repeat scan too and everything was great! :)

How'd you find that out ?? Did u call your insurance ?

@kp_111516, it was in a letter they mailed me. I get 2 unless the doctor requests more.
