My husband is a US Marine and was deployed yesterday. Is it possible for his absence to affect our baby girl? Can she know that he's gone? She's only 3 months and has been pouty in her sleep, sometimes it even wakes her up and she whimpers. It makes me sad to see her sad but I'm not sure what it is.

Thank you so much. This is hard on me and I just wasn't sure if she felt it too. But I'll definitely be trying his shirts. We were able to FaceTime him before bed and she was talking to him soooo much. @diegosmommy0213 @babynessa

Children are affect from an absent parent. Just give her time maybe play some videos of him if you have any so she can hear his voice. Also you can allow her to lay with his shirt at night so she can smell his sent or just wrap her in it. As time goes by it should get easier.
