Which formula are they using at the hospitals nowadays? I plan on breastfeeding but initially once I'm in recovery they would have given my hubby formula to feed baby. Just curious 🤗 and are any of you breastfeeding and formula feeding? I wonder if I should buy a breast pump tomorrow 🤔

I do formula and breastfeed and bottle feed with pumped milk! I exclusively did breastmilk (bottle and breastfed) for 6 weeks and I had thrush so bad the whole time that I decided to give myself a break and do a bit of formula....now I do 50/50 and I love it! Breastfeed when I feel like it and if im feeling sore, I give formula!! Best thing ever and I feel like a lot of moms think they have to pick one or the other, but this works great for me!!!! 😊

@brynsmommie, Your absolutely right.. I think I'm going that route too, gives hubby a chance to bond as well 😉.

i also am doing both currently. twins are still in the NICU and i pump exclusively but so not produce enough milk. so they mix my breastmilk half with half formula. in the hospital they are currently using similac 24hp for my twins. i actually dont mind doing half and half as well. we need to know all situations are different. we may have intentions on wanting to breastfeed and our body may not produce. domperidone is helping to so i can at least have enough milk to do half and half for both.
