So I have a crib already that a friend gave to me as a baby shower gift. My parents are insisting that they are buying a brand new one. I don't need the new crib because the one I have is in great condition. I don't want to keep the one my parents buy but I also don't want them to be mad/upset if I sell it or return it. If I return it, id get the crib bedding and bumpers and other stuff I need. What do y'all think I should do???

Tell them you already have a crib and that you'd really rather have the bedding (or something else yu need) or if they're insisting- keep the one they get you and sell the other one. If you talk with them tho and tell them yu really need the bedding instead I'm sure they'd be happy to get that they just want to feel helpful probably

I have told them and talked to the repeatedly about it and they still insist on getting it.I already have the one set up. and I've told them that if they get it I will likely sell it or return it to get the other stuff I need. the just won't listen though

tell them new is not necessary, that if they buy it you will return it. simple as that. if they get mad then you told them repeatedly
