My parents have 5 children. I am the only one who does anything for them. 7 months pregnant tomorrow....I have to drop my fiancée off at work, pick up my parents, drop them off in Brooklyn at the VA hospital bc my dad is battling cancer and hasn't been eating and almost fell twice today, come back to Staten Island and get dressed, drive to Queens to my cousin's baby shower to at least drop off the gifts (my mom was supposed to come), then go back to Brooklyn pick my mom up from hospital (my dad too if he wasn't admitted), drop off their laundry to be washed bc my father has a colostomy bag that keeps opening and spilling on his clothing and the bed sheets, pick up my fiancée from work and then come home. I have two brothers who live locally. They don't give a damn about anyone but themselves. One of them has a junky as a wife and the other is a self-serving prick who only cares about the latest vape smoking device he can buy or smoking weed.

@bksmom_twinscomingsoon, if I were you I'd skip the trip the shower. Your dad has cancer they have to understand. Can you fiancé find his own way from work. There's just too much, you need to say to no some things.

You are blessing your parents I would never tell you not to do that but don't kill yourself. Yes god will bless you for the good deeds for your parents but not killing yourself to get to your cousins shower and driving your fiancé ya know what I mean? You gotta cut down no ones gonna take care of you but you and you have to put yourself first and especially your baby you're 7 months pregnant!! You life is so similar to what I've been through and it took me therapy to realize there's no guilt in just saying no and taking care of you. Not surprised the other details of your family itseems like there's a addict "system" going in and you being the fall man is a key component. You need to start saying no because that baby is number one n you number 2 end of story.
