Question! So I plan to breast feed and then switch to pumping when I return to work. My question is once the baby is born how will I know if the colostrum has come in? What if it does NOt come in? Then what am I supposed to do? If I supplement with formula how will that effect Y breastfeeding efforts?

@cubanese, that makes me feel a lot better! I really really want to be successful with this! Through reading I'm convinced that breast milk is best for him! Last question. So if I can not see what's coming out how will I know he's getting something from the breast?

Okay ladies clearly labor hurts but question, how was recovery? Seems like no one talks about that.... I may be weird but that's what I'm worried about really.
