I will be forever grateful for my husband. He put up with more than any boyfriend should ever have to. He stuck by my side through stress induced hallucinations, self harm, severe PTSD and hospitalization. He bandaged me up after a bad day, held me when I cried, and drove me to treatment two hours away. He never asked about my scars when we started dating. He never pushed to know about my past. When my abuser of 10 years took a plea deal and got off the hook, he told me everything would be okay. When I started to remember repressed memories of abuse by another man, he was there. When I was assaulted last July, he left military police school early and surprised me at home. He, and now our son, have kept me going through severe postpartum depression and suicidal thoughts. My Marine has always been there for me. Through thick and thin, he has carried me through my darkness. For that, for sticking with me, for everything... I will be forever grateful. #USMC #love #strength #depression #PPD #grateful

@christimary0, thank you. My son is almost five months old. My doctors and I have been working on adjusting meds to find something that works. I think we're almost there. Yay for drugs lol

Omg I'm going to cry that is so sweet. God bless your family. I am also suffering with post pardem depression and I have depression and anxiety before that anyways. And I have autism and Crohn's disease. My son was born September 12th and he has Down's syndrome and 2 holes in his heart he will have to have open heart surgery in December. And my husband works so much so he can take care of me and our son. Yes those bad thoughts do come a lot
