ugh guys I know I post about this every day but I can honestly say I am out of ideas on how to get Oakley to sleep through the night. I've tried everything. Lavender baths, soothing music, white noise, cereal in his night time bottle, even been trying ferberization which I never wanted to do. Normally babies will eventually tire out and fall asleep.. not this guy. Last night he woke up around 1:30am and I made sure he was changed and everything then rubbed his belly/head then left the room. Went back in 10 mins later just so he'd know I'm not far. This went on all night long. Until I finally just got up at 6am with him. Then he knocked out an hour ago. Almost been two weeks since I've gotten more than an hour of sleep at night and I'm starting to feel a little crazy. Like I have a constant migraine, fever, chills...not sleeping is physically making me ill. Help 😭

Didn't you say you guys had a doc appointment for it? Have you gone to that yet?

Has he always been like this? I noticed he's 4 months old so looks like you are going through the 4 month sleep regression. I know some people may be against this ... but honestly if you just bring him in bed with you you will probably get some sleep . I remember the 4 month sleep regression well and co sleeping was the only way we got sleep. There are safe ways to co sleep google them. If you are that desperate to sleep it's worth a shot. Other than that I have no advice but to wait it out

@babymaciesmomma yeah we went cause I wanted to rule out something like an ear infection. Doc said he's perfectly healthy and suggested that I just try and let him to soothe myself. In other words "have fun w that"

@mamahoude no I got really spoiled at the beginning, he'd been sleeping through the night basically since I brought him home. He definitely is going through sleep regression, unfortunately I have tried bringing him in bed with me but when I do that I get even less sleep, lol. I've always had really bad insomnia so sleep has always been a little hard to come by for me but this is just a different level

@mamahoude do you remember how long this little phase lasted for your LO?

If you want him sleep well without relying on you for sleep time/nap time, co-sleeping isn't such a good idea though. I would know, I've done it since day one, up until she was 13 months old. And then, once they start being mobile, you can't really get much done while they're asleep because they can waken and crawl/walk off the bed...There are plenty of other sleep training methods you could try though.

Yeah I don't think I want to start co sleeping especially this late in the game. I think I'm gonna get a book on sleep training or something, this shit cray @breloya

You think the shirt thing will help?? @butterfli_luv that's crazy though, I'm running on maybe 5-6 hours of sleep in almost a two week period 😥😥

Why don't you sleep when he's in your bed?

I was so going to advise on the shirt and glove idea, but I thought he was too old lol. But the shirt on the bear is really smart! And there are also sleep training groups on Facebook mama. Trust and believe, you're not alone. Mine is 14 months and still doesn't sleep through the night and now she's teething again. Sometimes I only sleep for 30 minutes a night for 3-4 nights and then crash on the 5th night at bedtime. I struggle with falling asleep, so when she's waking every half hour or so, I just end up staying asleep all night. So definitely get your book, join Facebook groups, something. It's rough, but I've gotten better sleep this past month (besides the teething phase) since getting her a toddler bed, than I've gotten the entire time co-sleeping. (She's a wild sleeper) She goes for 2-3 hours of sleep at times. I'm not exactly using a training method, I just put her in her bed and tell her to lay down and she stares at me until she falls asleep. It does get better over time. Don't give up and stay consistent.

I had this problem with Bella, in order to get her back on schedule I literally had to keep her awake as long as possible in the day time, no naps whatsoever. Then bath and I give her gas drops before bed but that's just because she gets frequent tummy aches and she's back on schedule now finally.

He doesn't nap during the day barely at all 😥 that's what's so frustrating about this, I know he's got to be tired! @bellasmommy516

oh my :( I'm sorry girl I don't know what to tell you. I would try the teddy bear idea. I've definitely been there though it didn't last very long. He could also be teething? Bella already has one tooth in all the way and another one coming in beside it and it causes her to stay really fussy.

Yeah I thought teething could be part of it but his doctor said if he's not waking up irritable it's most likely just sleep regression. This is by far the hardest thing I've dealt with in motherhood thus far especially since his dad left. I never sleep. It's making me go kinda nuts haha @bellasmommy516

@emkasting, do you have someone close that could watch him for just one night so you could get some sleep?
