Anyone else plan their own baby shower? I feel kinda sad that I'm doing it and no one else, not even…

I did mine with my mom. But neither one of my sisters helped

I have people that wanna help plan it but I feel like they're takin their sweet time and not really actually doing anything so I have been doing all the work anyway. I picked the date and time, food options, invitations..... whateva at least I ain't paying for it

I'm doing the planning but my mom and god mother are doing the paying. I am a control freak. I picked the theme, designed the invitations and thank you cards, I made all the centerpieces, I made the wishing well, made a banner with her name, thought of all the games to play, went shopping with my mom and GM for every last thing, did all the addresses on the invitations, mailed them, made a spreadsheet for RSVPs.... I however like doing these things and wanted complete control of how it would turn out. I feel like my mom would have went to party city and picked a generic theme and i want it to be special.

i did with my son. i planned it and paid for it....cooked for it and all. it was a lot. i said never again

im not even sure if ill get one either. im 32 weeks not alot of time left.. first baby too:/
