csection mamas:
how long did it take for your feet and ankles to stop swelling?
I had an emergency csection last Wednesday. babygirl is 1week 2 days. last pregnancy I vaginally delivered and swelling only lasted about a week.
My poor feet are so swollen and my legs and ankles. I've had people tell me it's normal, but I'm just worried I'll never get my feet back lmao . doctors appointment monday, so I'll be asking then too.
it take me two weeks I was supposed to have her on 23 of September but she came on the 28 of September she wasn't breached at all she didn't wanna come out my water didn't break and also she didn't like the epuridal stressing her out she hates medicine so I had an emergency c section I couldn't walk or stand up I feel like the huntch back thank God the nurses let my husband stayed in the hospital witty with me 6 days
It took two weeks for it to start going down, and was totally gone by three weeks. Walking/stretching, icing, and massaging them will help it go away faster and you'll be more comfortable in the mean time. Good luck, I know it totally sucks!
