Its basically a superstition that tons of people belive. This is the definition of it since i cant really explain it lol. "The evil eye is a human look believed to cause harm to someone or something else. Oh I'm sorry I wasn't sure haha. Huh I didn't know it could cause bad luck like that. I thought it was just when someone has a really strong "look".I've heard different things like if they just look at the baby it'll make them cry a lot or when they see a baby they want to hold really badly but they don't hold the baby. When my daughter was a newborn I would wear her and people would come up to me thinking she was a doll cause she was so small lol. They would rub her face or her hand and say let me touch her I don't wanna give her el ojo. Um sure go ahead 😛😅

I believe in it, my husband is iffy lol. but I totally do. we my son when he was new born got a red bracelet from Israel to wear around his ankle to keep away the evil eye. I kinda firmly believe in it now because I had a lot of bad people in my life when I have birth to my son. when he was around 3 months I took the bracelet off and all hell broke loss. he was in and out of the hospital for months for seizures non of the doctors could explain or understand. then I did a purge, got rid of all the bad people that always would say they hoped bad stuff happened to me and my son, got him a new band and the seizures just... stopped. like he never even had them to begin with. we take him in still to be checked and thank God there is no trace of it. so I've become very superstitious since then
