so my birth story!!.....

at 34 weeks this weekend my bump dropped loads, my partner and I went on 2 long walks this week Monday and Wednesday and I felt pains in my hips, yesterday(wednesday) I ate some pineapple and contractions started. My contractions yesterday were so random and not at all regular I thought was just beginning of slow labour they winded me but wernt in my back like I remembered from my first, I went to bed at 11 but woke up at like 2.20 with really bad ones and waters broke when was sick on loo 10 mins later and I could feel his head really wanted push!! Was horrible thought was going have him there... my mil drove me and my oh the 20 mins to hospital the whole time I felt like I was holding him in, got to hospital and they tried making me have a wee I told her I couldn't I needed push got on bed and he came at 3.28 my mum walked in two mins later ... missed the whole thing of course but my OH was there and shared it with me. was incredible I'm so proud of doing it all natural I was addimant for a epidural this time round, I didn't swear or shout at anyone either unlike the first! it was so quick and amazing and now I have a beautiful baby boy he weighed 5.6 pounds named Hugo. He's doing really well spending the night in neonatal until he's feeding for himself but he's doing really well and feeding my expressed colostrum from a bottle so we should be off his tube soon!! anyway... don't dread the second labour as really you know what your doing, you know your body.
