Guys quick question about the epidural ⁉ ⁉ ⁉ ⁉ Did y'all have any side effects? My whole body is itching .

Yes, it can cause itching. it sucks.

i had a spinal....which im not sure if its the same...however, I was itchy too! maybe ask if you can have some benedryl. they never offered it to me and i scratched myself so badly, i was bleeding.

You itch because you're going through "withdrawal". It goes away.

Are you still in labor? bc once they take it out it will stop. they gave me benadryl.

I itched for about 10-15 minutes, but then it went away!

Haven't given birth yet but my sister says it always makes her itchy and she usually throws up too.

@kbrown91, yes I'm still in labor bc my daughter was blocking the water so when my water broke it didn't come all out so I stayed @ 3cm for like 6 hrs so the doctor checked my cervix & moved her & the water came out with blood & I got so bad pain after that I couldn't take it & got the epidural

Aww well I hope you have a smooth and successful delivery.That baby is gonna be worth it =] I'm not giving birth at a birth center anymore,but one reason I wanted to was because you can eat lol.I heard hospitals let you eat ice chips...they should try only eating ice chips!
