Currently bawling over the fact I didn't have a 3D ultrasound and have absolutely no good ultrasound pictures of my daughter & I have no idea what she looks like. 😭

@michelle2220, nope it would be 150-200$ out of pocket because my insurance doesn't classify the 3D ones as "medically necessary" 😕

well what if your dr said to check for growth that's usually covered and that's when they'll do the 3d at least for me

@michelle2220, he won't, ive had no complications this pregnancy and she is perfectly on target, even then my insurance would make me pay for it up front and then just re-embers me later if it was determined that it was medically necessary. My insurance absolutely sucks, definitely switching companies for my next pregnancy.

that totally sucks. mine has been completely normal but I'm getting two growth scans.

There isn't any place cheaper for a 3D? I got mine for $60 about 32 weeks. My dr doesn't do 3D either.

@jacesterlingsmommy, not in my area, there is only 1 place around me and it's 45 minutes away. The scans start at 90$ and for each picture they print out it's another 5$ and if you want a disk of 15 pictures it's 50$ and if I just went to the town clinic to get one it would be 200$ without insurance.
