I'm really trying not to give up breast feeding but the let down when he starts eating hurts like s*** and I'm filling up breast pads I feel so all over the place

If you hand express (squeeze your nipples) to cause the let down right before you latch him it'll feel better, it hurts more when they're sucking trying to trigger the letdown, but hand expressing kinda relieved that pain for when baby does latch

I kinda had to give up because my baby girl doesn't have a strong enough suction yet :/ so I exclusively pump for now. Hopefully she'll get stronger so I can't get back to mommy and baby time 😘
