What does their income have to do with the floods, the hurricane, or the weather period? Like I don't get it? Are you trying to say Hurricane Matthew targeted low income people versus high income people because a hurricane can pick its direction or that it would not have been as bad if they had money. . .?

That's exactly what it is... ppl with less money can't rebuild or relocate easily.

@dang_dridri, I'm from North Carolina where this monster hit and what it's saying is the low income families are needing more help getting back up after being knocked down....nc has never really experienced anything like this before and lumberton and Robson co areas are very low income very low along with Scotland co it's sister co Scotland is the poorest in the state you'd have to be from there to understand what's going on people inland didn't prep cause this has never happened....and to be honest it's very heartbreaking to know that this happened to my home
