they really don't go in any order lol its different for every pregnancy. but usually if you lose your mucus plug it means your dilating. my water broke a little over 24 hrs after my bloody show.

they broke mine at the hospital but I lost plug first

mucus plug usually first...contractions next for me. but my water didn't break. they had to break mine in the hospital.
