**Birth Story**
It's long sorry in advance lol
>From Sept 22-29 I had been having BH/ Pre-labor contractions.
>On the 29 I went to the doctors and I was 1.5-2cm dilated and 25% effaced and they did a membrane sweep.
>I was also given the ok to try and naturally induce my self
>By Oct 2 contractions were getting more intense but not getting close in time so I went walking around a big mall for like 3 hours
>Oct 3 everything stopped no pain, no BH, nothing 🙃
>I woke up around 9am-ish to use bathroom on Oct 4 and the contractions started up again but weren't severe so I went back to sleep
>Around 11,11:30 I wake up to horrible pain. I decide to take a shower but nothing worked I was crying
>Called my mom at work and she said "today might be the day"
>Called my doctors around 12:30 they wanted me to wait until 4 mins apart consistent (I was between 2-6 mins apart at this point)
>1:30 my mom decides to go to hospital I live in Jersey City and my hospital is in NY, New York and she didn't want to be stuck in traffic if I was really in labor. We leave about 2ish
>Get to the hospital around 3 and they checked me I was 5-6 cm and staying
>Things were moving just fine contractions were crazy but I was happy it would soon be over
>Around 4:30 I was 7-8cm and they wanted to give me an epi but we were so close my mom asked if breaking my water would speed things up. They broke it and I said yes to an epi as well but didn't take it when they came (I hate needles, contractions were 2 mins apart and I didn't trust myself to not move)
While my doctors kept trying to push the epi the nurse I had was more compliant she told me to trust my body and coached me through my contractions
>At 6 I was checked again 9cm, WOO!
>Around 7 my nurse had to leave (😔) they checked me I was at 9cm and contractions weren't so intense anymore so I finally relaxed enough for the epi.
THANK GOD FOR EPIDURAL!!!
>7:30ish the monitors were no longer picking up my contractions but I was still having them, so they put a monitor in my vag.
>Baby was moving so much the monitors couldn't find her heart rate 🙄
>Another thing in my vag. Causing me stress because I felt everything (sensitive down there) finally got the monitor to work (first one didn't and they had to go back in there😒)
>Baby heart rate dropped 😔
>I was in PAIN! And they kept wanting me to roll side to side to try and get her rate up but nothing (caused us both to stress)
>Head L&D doctor came in and said they may have to cut me 😔 but they wait a little bit before deciding. I couldn't push because I was stuck at 9cm
>He literally stepped outside for a minute came back and said I'm getting a c-section. I bust out in tears
>Everyone is now scolding me and telling me to calm down because I'm not helping the situation or my baby. (But them yelling at me was not calming me down either.)
>Get to the room for the surgery and I'm giving another dose of epi (I think lol) and oxygen
>Someone went for my husband and I feel them cut me. Then the tugging started and I'm yelling "it hurts, it hurts!!" And I had raised my right hand and someone said "strap her arms and someone else in the room said they're giving me oxygen through a mask thing (it wasn't oxygen) I hear my baby crying then I pass out.
>They wake me up and the curtain thing is down and someone brings my baby to me I didn't see her face clearly and I pass back out but not before I said "don't give her any bottles".
>Up for good this time and I forgot I already saw baby girl and keep asking to see her and someone says "you just saw her 20 minutes ago" and all I could think was "so". And I just kept calling for her until someone decides to bring my baby to me ( they were cleaning me up)
>The doctor told me baby's cord was "loosely around her neck" and she came at 8:59pm
My baby's birth did not go according to plan and my husband did not experience his baby coming into the world. He was waiting for them to bring him in the room and next thing he knew his baby was crying. But we are glad she's healthy.

I started crying too when I they told me I had to get a c section & everybody was telling me to calm down..I'm like calm down?! How would u feel if you were the one being cut? smh..& When they were pulling him out, I could feel all the pressure and it HURT and made me nauseated..I seriously felt like I was gonna die on that table..But I'm glad we both made it through!
