But when you're 35-36 weeks and asking...be prepared for some harsh words and don't pull the "oh well my sons nearly 10 pounds already". (gestational diabetes is another thing) that's a medical issue and you should always do what your doctors tell you, but because he's measuring big on ultrasound... dumb.
cool, you have a chunky bub...doesn't mean his lungs are ready yet. Also, doctors won't know how heavy your child is until birth. I heard "your sons nearly 9lbs" and guess what...only 6lbs.
But whatever your decision, I hope its a smart one and if your bub ends up in NICU I'd hate to be the one to say "I told you so"

my son is a preemie but wasnt in the nicu. he was born at 34 weeks. im glad i was able to make it to 35 with this one. i was so nervous. my nephew was born 2 months early anx very sick:( having preemie babies are no joke. my son now has respiratory problems@mommyof1boyy

It's ok, it's harder than some want to hear about too. I'm just happy my little man is doing good❤️ thank you @mommyof1boyy for being so nice about it. I wish I could've gone full term.

my son was a preemie and being in the nicu for 7 and a half weeks was no fun. I just wish that I could have kept him in at least 2 more weeks until I was almost 37 weeks. I would take early term over premature any day. I'm super glad and lucky I'm making it to early term this time (as long as everything stays looking the way it is) even knowing that I can possibly have a vbac at 37 or 38 weeks, I will not self induce because I want to take him home with me this time.
