If someone just got engaged, Is it rude to ask how many carats the ring is?

I don't think it's rude to ask details about your ring. but if you feel weird, just bring it to someone to look at

I don't think so, it's just curiosity. But if someone was to ask the person they just got engaged to then yeah it would be.
