Why do you care if my child is skinny or fat?
My son weighs as much as some peoples 10 month olds and its my business not yours. He's perfect and the doctors say so.
18 moths old and 23 pounds. Tall and skinny.

this!! my daughter is a little over 10 lbs at 3 and a half months old. people sometimes tell me she looks like a newborn when they ask her age. I want to tell them so bad that I'm not trying to please them. as long as my baby is happy and healthy [which she is] then that's what matters. she's at a good weight considering she was 5 lbs when she was born.

My son is the same age and weight, every baby is going to grow differently so I don't know why people always have to think it's wrong if a kid isn't the same as their own. My husband and I are both tall so of course our son is too, his weight can't keep up with his height haha.

I feel you on this. I have a big boy, 27 pounds at 11 months old. People are always telling me how huge he is. Like yeah I know, I am the one who carries him around lol

It can be a competitive thing, but it can also be a curious thing. I ask most all women I meet with babies just because I like to see how different babies are, not to be nosey but for personal insight. But I also ask about milestones and such.
