It's not as bad as it seems honestly. Yes it hurts but you will not remember any of the pain I promise. Walking really helps. As soon as they let you walk do it. You will move slow at first but walking helps so much. Also shower as soon as they let you the warm water helps your muscles after being in a bed for a few hours. Do not skip medicine doses. Always take your meds even if you are feeling better. They way they do c-sections now is way easier then back in the days. The cut is small and no scar at all. My scar compared to my moms is 10x thinner and about 3-4inches smaller.
My biggest advice to you is to do everything the nurses say even if you feel like you can't. Walk when they tell you to walk, take your medicine, EAT. I didn't eat because I had no appetite and I threw up a bunch because of my empty stomach😳 when you get home, take your meds and don't try to be brave. Take it when you're supposed to until it's gone. The other huge piece of advice is have something next to your bed that is sturdy to help you get in and out of bed for the first couple of weeks. I was really sad I didn't get a rock n play instead of a bassinet UNTIL I had a csection. Having a sturdy bassinet helped me a ton. But if you don't have one of those a night stand or something would be great. You will do awesome and be snuggling your sweet baby before you know it
I understand! So annoying that they pushed you back🙄 I went into labor and got all the way to ten centimeters and pushed for 4 hours before we decided on a csection because she was transverse🙄 I would have much rather planned a csection! With this one, I will! But I would hate to be ready and then them push my time😒 just a little longer!

you'll be in good hands. C sections are common and your baby will be in your arms soon enough. 💞💞💞💞💞💞
