Just had my health visitor visiting to see how I'm getting on. Isnt it lovely when you have a nice health visitor who listens to you and gives you advice, who doesn't judge you or tells you what you should be doing. She has helped me so much in the last 2 years, and will continue with this baby too. Feeling more calm and relaxed about things.

@oliviafaye, my hv is lovely too. she sounds just like yrs in fact! its so nice to have someone professional who u can turn to for advice/reassurance who wont judge u. unlike the one i had with my daughter! x

@karenb1601, aww it's nice isn't it. my daughter is 2 next month, and she has listened to me and always gave me reassurance from when she was born. has never stuck her nose up like one of my friends health visitor does so she never sees her because of it. I just wish they were all the same but unfortunately there not x

@oliviafaye, it is a shame when there are so many ppl out there who need advice or reassurance but are too scared of being judged or talked down to by the so called professionals who are supposed to support them in giving their kids the best start in life. maybe if they were all nice then we woudnt have cases like baby p x
