I know, by sharing this photo, I'm opening myself up for comments and opinions about me giving my 2 month old some of my cheddar broccoli soup... But, before you fix your mouth to say anything to me... Remember and realize that he's my child, and my 5th child at that!!!... I also co-sleep... Another personal choice!!!... With "attachment parenting", you have to feed off your baby's cues... And, when your baby has basically become like another appendage, they catch on prettyyyyy quickly to the fact that your food is different from theirs..... Xavier's been throwing fits whenever I eat in front of him for at least 2 weeks now... He ate off a spoon (not mixed in a bottle, which is something I'm against doing because I don't think it's safe)... He gobbled up the few bites that I allowed him to have, then he threw an even bigger fit because he wanted more, but got his bottle instead (coz I obviously wasn't bouta give him more than a few bites his first time around)... I shouldn't have to type a paragraph before sharing a picture, but I know how sooo freaking many of these know-it-all's on here are!!! Moms shouldn't ever hesitate to share stories with each other....
every baby is different as to when they're ready for solids! a mother knows her child better than anyone else. I think the most concerning thing though would be the amount of sodium in canned soups... But he looks like he's enjoying it lol
@wolfie41416, @jessicarose034 @peanuts1mom. thanks ladies..... his doctor actually started him on juice when he was around a month old..... so, I buy Gerber juices (apple, pear, or white grape is what she said for now)... and I also give him probiotic drops everyday to help with digestion (I couldn't breastfeed anymore and had to switch to formula and he had a hard time adjusting at first, then started packing on serious weight lol...
@peanuts1mom, I guess it's cause we share everything else, from the boobs to the bed and baths. I guess he thinks food too, but the food is all mine. Haha it's like I have to wait until he is sleep to eat peacefully. smh. my kid is just like me
@wolfie41416, that's also my daughter 😂 but she doesn't just look she will squeal and if I still don't share she gives me an annoyed cry (very distinct from her other cries) as if trying to say "hey that was my bite"
that's exactly how my daughter is!! we cosleep and feed on cue also and don't feel bad by 3 months my hubby was doing the same!
Your baby, your choice. people can have their opinions all they want... but if it's your 5th child and they are all well taken care of, and you are experienced and know what you're doing.... what you do is none of their business. you're right, it's sad you have to post a whole paragraph for those people, but you know how judgmental people can be these days!! I've noticed with my daughter since she was 2 months old that she stares at my food and even my drinks when I eat in front of her. she's almost 4 months but small for her age so I'm waiting a tiny bit longer. but like I said... your baby, your choice mama. don't let people put you down. 😙🤗🤗🤗
Lol the bib though! 😂 he looks like he enjoyed it!!
