being myself, i would try everything possible first especially when having a child together. I would have a heart to heart with him and tell him where your at and ask him why he can't tone things down or what you can do to help him meet your needs. I would try counseling, or talking to a neutral source like a pastor or counselor, sometimes it takes hearing things from another person. i would just want to try everything possible first that way I know that's there's nothing else I can do to fix it that way I'm not stuck feeling guilty when I end things

@kmharr3, I've tried. I keep trying and trying to fix things but I just end up in the same place. Today I was supposed to get clothes before we went to his moms house. But instead we went to his moms house. We leave her house at 4. We have an hour commute to get home. So instead I say I'll go another day because I didn't want our newborn out in the cold at night just so I could shop.

sometimes men forget that we have things we need to do. did he intentionally Skip going clothes shopping? in that case I would tell him how that made you feel.. if you feel like you really can't Handel it anymore then it might be time to throw in the towel. you deserve to feel appreciated and like you're a priority. sorry you are going through this

@kmharr3, yes he knew I needed to get some clothes. I haven't bought anything since I've been pregnant. And I've only went shopping 2x while I was pregnant and I didn't get a whole lot. I think what pissed me off more is that he had no problem putting his mom first because she wanted to see the baby that he would rather me have her shopping in the cold. Either that or I was only gonna be able to go to one store and then I'd feel rushed because I told him I didn't want her out in the cold.

i use to be in that situation but he needs to put effort if he doesn't then don't even bother anymore it takes 2 people not just one I felt I was always put last but my husband change a lot and is all about me and his kids I been with him for 8 years and I can say maybe 2 or 3 years ago he changed
