One of my friends that is coming to my baby shower actually felt like she had to ask me if it was okay if she breast fed her newborn son at my shower. Because she didn't want to offend anyone.... I can't believe we live in a world where women feel like they have to ask permission to feed their child for fear of other people seeing it as sexual. 😔 I told her that if anyone says anything or makes her feel uncomfortable that I WILL say something to them and they can leave if they're so "uncomfortable" about her feeding a baby. It's a damn shame we even had to have that conversation.

lol we had a super bowl party this year and my friend had her 3month old. during the game she said, "im about to feed him, so if anyones uncomfortable you should go" a guy missed almost 40 mins of the game. lol

@halliekay, how dumb that he couldn't just focus on the game instead of her. Breastfeeding should be that much of a distraction. At least he had the sense to get up and leave instead of requesting that she leave.
