Newborn sounds congested!! When he breathes it sounds like a lot of mucus is in his nose! ER worthy?

It's normal.. mine does the same. It's because their nasal passages are so small and just the tiniest bit of mucus can sound like a LOT.

Maybe try suctioning some of it out?

same with my newborn but doc says its normal. he doesn't have any mucus or anything doc says as long as he's not coughing and he's eating well nothing to be alarmed about their airways are quite small still

def mucus try saline and suction but if out Sound like it's coming from the lungs go to the dr

Mine was like this too when he was first born I think it is normal !

nah just use a bulb or that thing you use to suck it out with saline, mine was less than a week when he got congested! be ready for screaming cuz babies hate getting their nose sucked out!
