ladies that already have children help!! how did ya get your babies to start sitting up? my baby was premature and will be 6 months this Tuesday and still won't even try to sit up, although she should be 4 months and a half in reality. does being a premature baby have anything to do?

yup! always go by due date and not born age.

I always just do tummy time and "show them" by letting mine grasp my fingers and pull them up and let them sit up and show them how much better life is sitting up lol. My daughter was born at 38nweeks (not preemie but early) and she's almost walking

awww how cute... my daughter was born at 33 weeks... she's already holding her bottle which is a plus in progress 🙂😀

My daughter was born at 29 weeks and so I was told to measure her milestones to her adjusted age (her due date) I think she started sitting up unassisted around 7-8 months. Give your baby time. You baby will do things on its own time

My daughter is only a week old and she's already trying to sit up 😂👌 Be lucky. Lmao mine wants to grow up too fast!

a bumbo/floor seat would help give the lower back support and help her.
