Um, NO. The last thing we need to do is let government control more things that it should NOT be involved in. Yes, Apple is a name because some people name their kids that. You could name your child whatever you wanted to and you have absolutely no right to say that other people shouldn't. People need to quit being so fucking narrow minded.

Anything can be a name if you want it to be. Ya there are so really weird ones out there but if it's not your child or you then why care? If it doesn't directly effect you then ignore it. My daughters name is Thea Lucifer. Me and her father love her name and that's all that matters.

@keepingupwithhj, thank you! my family is very Christian and so we didn't tell them till after her birth what we named her. My mom gave us so much shit for her name talking all this crap about the devil. But me and SO aren't part of any religion and dont have any kind of religious beliefs so Lucifer is just a name to us

@lucifermommy, i actually love the name lucifer but the association it gets with the devil makes me not name my son that just because of how mean kids are today. last names are a little different but still. its sad. it should just be a name. your daughters name is very pretty♡

My cousin named her son Thackerey Binx now it sounds cool but It wouldn't be for me and now her son may possibly get picked on kids are mean these days but it's our kids and to each their own

i don't think government should tell anything to anyone. however, I prob wouldn't name my kid something like Heavenly Grace just because "heavenly" is an adjective, a descriptive, not a noun. I am all for freadom, but some people are out there with naming their kids.
