@shonce, it's doable. Just apply yourself to it. I graduated 5 years ago and it wasn't easy but with great support you can do and I encourage you to go for it. Very rewarding career and with all the sacrifices it's well worth it. @cubanese where did you go to nursing school and what type of RN or should I say what unit you work on? Nite ladies
@nurseriri, I have an awesome support system so I'm hoping with me working 3 12's and 2-3 days of nursing school I won't be away from him to awful me. I don't want him to know others in the family better than me 😭😭
@shonce, I just did my Nurse Practitioner (NP) entrance exam on the 30th for next falls semester and I know it would be a little challenging with my son but we gotta do what we gotta do. Just having to study for that took some adjustment with Ethan but I passed that phase of it and I'm ready to be back in school.
@nurseriri, that is awesome. You give me some hope and motivation then. I plan to get my RN first I have everything completed just need to pass the psb and get into this years upcoming program in august. He will be 9 months at the time i start so I have some time to spend with him and prepare myself. I know this will be the best move for my family though so I'm going to put my all into it!!
@nurseriri, yea I had actually thought into doing social work simply because I didn't think I would be able to handle nursing with a baby but I'm beginning to think I need to stick with my main goal as before

@shonce, yes it will be the best career move for you. Your son would be at a good age when you start.
