Hey mamas so last night I was diagnosed with mastis on my left breast. They gave me antibiotics but ever since I've been feeling ill cause of the infection I've noticed my milk supply has defiantly dropped. I'm used to pumping close to 10 oz together. Now I'm lucky if I can pump 5 oz. has any other mamas been through this? & when will my supply come back?

I think it woo gradually come back if you stick to your normal routine of pumping your body is just working extra hard to fight off the infection

I had mastis and went from pumping close to 30oz a day to barely 20oz. In my experience it really killed my supply and I never got it back, it slowly declined until I had to stop.

Oh no I hope that doesn't happen to me, if heard plenty of moms say their supply cake back after the infection is gone. Cause where the infection is milk will not produce there. @jjbaby0902
