At what age did y'all have to change your car seat from the infant one to a bigger one?

8 months we just switched this week

If you don't mind me asking, what car seat did you switch to?

@mommytobe98, I switched to the graco extend2fit 65 convertible car seat. We bought it at target for $200.It's rear facing and front facing for when he's older.

I haven't switched yet! I'm waiting until he's at least a year old

He out grew the infant one @irishtwinmomma :-( we were hoping it would last a year but he's off the charts in height , but we will save it for our next kid! Everything is so expensive too. It would have been cheaper getting a convertible car seat from the start , but I like the infant seat because you don't have to take them out of it as newborns if they are sleeping. I would hate to wake a sleeping baby!

I got the Safety 1st 3 in 1 yesterday at Sam's Club. my son is 4 months but he is very long. I regret not buying one of those instead of the infant seat. I took the infant one out maybe 4 times he would freak out in the store if put him the cart with it

I changed it at 1 year
