I give my baby Tylenol if it's really bad. Other than that I just use teething rings. But I've been told that rubbing peppermint oil on their gums numbs it

Put the teething toys in the fridge or freezer. The cold relieves the pain of teething

best bet would be to freeze a wet (clean) hand towel and let baby chew/rub on the gums
