Now that my little cowboy is almost 2 weeks old and things have calmed down, I would like to share my birth story.π
On Friday the 23, I started having terrible back cramps. All day and throughout the night. On Saturday the 24, at 11:00 am I couldn't take the back pain any longer so we went up to the hospital. As soon as we pulled up to the hospital, excruciating contractions hit out of nowhere. I got checked and was still 2 cm so they wouldn't admit me. Contractions were 2 minutes apart so I walked around the hospital for about an hour. By then it was 12:30 and it hurt too bad to walk. I was still only 2 cm but I was in so much pain they gave me a room to labor in to see if I would progress. At 4:30 they checked again & I was 4 cm. At that point, they still couldn't admit me but they gave me an IV with some morphine because I was losing oxygen little by little from the pain. As soon as they gave me the round of morphine, my water broke. At that point, they admitted me. By 8:00, I was 8 cm. They had been promising me an epidural for over an hour at this point. I had to continue oxygen because the lower my oxygen got, the lower his heart rate dropped. It was a little late for an epidural but they gave me one anyhow. By 9:00pm I was 10 cm. I started pushing about 15 minutes later. I pushed for about 20 minutes and he was born at 9:36 pm. He is well worth the hell! Definitely the most painful yet beautiful experience of my life.

Congratulations hes a cutie. It's so painful but so worth it. I'm sure even with pain meds or not. I went all natural for both of my kids IDK how I did it lol.
