Did anyone really wait the full 6 weeks to get intimate with your partner? I'm not sure I can wait 5 more weeks but I'm not sure if it's a good idea. Should I wait?

I stopped bleeding a week and a half after giving birth. We had sex 3 weeks pp. everything g was fine and still is 👍
Hahaha same here my baby will be 2 weeks on Sunday & my hubby won't stop trying to get me to
they tell you to really wait till bleeding stops so u don't get an infection
I waited 3 weeks and had a 2 degree tear and I was fine, no pain at all it just feels like it's your first time

I had no problems during my pregnancy with it and I seriously thought that since I had a csection I'd be fine. Like you, my hormones were raging, I was trying to get it on in the hospital.
@emily18234, I'm breastfeeding so hopefully I'm not a desert lol I was for the longest time during my pregnancy.
I had a csection so I had no vaginal issues persay, but you feel totally different down there the first few times. Like it's the first time you've ever had sex. Plus I was breastfeeding, so the hormones had me dryer than what I was used to.

I waited 8 weeks and oh my lord it hurt so bad we only did it for 5 minutes because it hurt so bad. Tried again a couple days later and had to stop again because it hurt for me too bad but I got an episiotomy and stitches so that might be why it was so bad for me
