Breastfeeding was super hard for me in the beginning. My nipples were so incredibly dry, cracked and painful. Every time I fed him, it felt like icy fire daggers coming out of my nipples.

I dreaded feeding him because it hurt so bad. It was hard to bond with him in the beginning because it hurt to hold him up against my chest.

But I'm SO glad I stuck with it. It barely hurts anymore now, and I love his feeding times. He makes eye contact with me the whole time (until he falls asleep😜)

My husband was so supportive and helpful through everything. He would hold me and rub my back while I was in so much pain💙

So, in the beginning breastfeeding sucks, but it is SO worth it in the end.
