Went to Dr and only 2cm dilated, OMG! I just knew I would be a little further than that. Due date is Tuesday 10/11 he said if she doesn't come by then I could get induced next Thursday or the following Tuesday. I told him I want her to come naturally due to all the issues with being induced and, he said it would be much easier as well and inductions cause longer labors and they don't always work. So At this point I'm just praying she comes out before then on her own. I'm so discouraged, but I guess I'll have to continue to be patient and wait. Ive been walking, squatting, drinking raspberry tea, not much sex cause I'm not in the mood. Idk what else to do. Anyone else ever been 2cm and ended up going into labor in the next couple days????

I was just induced on tuesday, when i went in i was 2cm dilated already. They started me on cervidil and i was only in labor for 14 hours. 12 hours just mild cramping. They broke my water and i had the baby within 2 hours. So in my experience labor wasnt actually that long or terrible. I didnt want to be induced but needed to be for medical reasons, and its honestly not as horrible as people make it seem.

@rari, that's good! I've heard good and bad and 14 hours isn't that bad but it could be shorter naturally maybe like 4 lol. But whatever is best for me and baby I'll be ok with.
