But apparently it wasn't time or you'd have the baby. They won't admit you just becausr of regular contractions if you aren't progressing. Unless you are past your due date or there are complications

She said I wasn't dilating but I was only there for an hour. My contractions stayed steady like that until 3.

In active labor the body will usually dilate about half cm to a cm per hr. So if after 1 hr of regular contractions your body wasn't doing anything.....there's nothing they're going to do. Especially because you aren't full term. If your water had been broken already, then they would have likely kept you.

I'm still pissed they'd break anyone else's water and give the pitocin. I'm just over being pregnant period.

Is it worth risking a surgery? If your body isn't ready, induction could lead to complications. Not only that, your baby is not full term. So is it worth it to risk your baby having trouble breathing etc because you're miserable?

I'm not judging you because I'm over being pregnant too. However when we choose to give life, it's not generally about us. It's about the life we are carrying. Be strong. You are almost at the finish line! Your baby will be in your arms before you know it

I don't want pitocin I'm just saying that's what they do to everyone else. I've already been induced before so I know what it's like. I'm not making it about me I'm just saying my aggravation is from me being tired of being pregnant. I have a ADHD/Autistic son and I have extremely high anxiety due to his symptoms from that and keeping him at home alone bc his dad works until 3:00 in the morning. I'm quite sure high anxiety and me having anxiety attacks aren't healthy for her either. I'd never want to put my child's life in danger. My post was to vent to other pregnant women who are tired of being pregnant. @arivera64

That's why i said i understand being over it. I still have 8 weeks left and I'm like fml. Just trying to say don't be upset with the doctors. They are doing whats best by not inducing the labor before your baby is ready. I know stress and anxiety isn't great for baby either, however I'm sure you've discussed your concerns with your health care provider and if they were concerned of the well being of the baby I'm sure they'd intervene. I'm not saying don't vent....just hang in there. It's almost over.
