Going in tonight at 9 to start cervadil to be induced tomorrow morning. Any advice? Any prep tips? Either mental or physical?
Good luck. Just remember when they hire the potusin the more painful it gets. Sending prayers for a safe delivery and a fast one.
make sure you buy your groceries and to toilet paper laundry soap ect for the next 2 weeks. last thing your going to want to do is run to the store for milk lol
@savanahr777, I'm going to try not to need an epidural. And @jacesterlingsmommy I won't have it in for 12 hours. I'll have it from about 9:30pm to about 5:30 am they said.
yes, eat! also sleep as much as you can today and the 12 hours you have the cervidil in. (I wish I had) lol. I brought all this stuff to keep me occupied in labor and didn't use anything lol. Walk around as much as you can, if you get an epidural you're stuck in that bed for a while lol
Try to sleep before your contractions get too bad, and if you are getting an epidural get it as soon as they allow you to.
Yes...take the epidural, it will allow u to get the baby out as soon as possible, labor down and possibly not tear while pushing. Both pregnancies I was induced, less than 5 minutes of pushing and no tearing, both times I was up and moving around the same night I had my babies.
