Found out our house has mice. Found that out a few weeks ago or so. After finding them we got a flea infestation. Our dogs and cat, who have never had fleas and are shorthair animals, are now itching themselves raw from them. My daughter has them in her hair, I have them on me, they're on our floors and couch...exterminator said we'd have to flea-bomb the house, which requires the house to be vacant during the process for 24-48 hours and then entails hours of scrubbing things clean to remove toxicity to animals and children. He said we'd need that done about twice to be effective along with poison traps for the mice since they're in the floorboards, walls, and ceiling. Just great. If it's not one thing, it's another with this POS house and POS landlord. The house we're in is a rental and we're renting from a POS who has had the majority of his houses burn down from faulty wiring (does his own wiring cuz he's a cheapskate), flood from faulty piping (does his own piping cuz he's a cheapskate), or be condemned due to mold growth and rodent contamination. Perfect guy to rent from...not 😒 Surprised this house is still standing.
