Is it possible to be in labor and your water not breaking?? I keep having contractions I believe…

I was dilated to 5 when I had my water broken it speeds up labor but also the contractions

Yes most women get their water broken in the hospital I think something like 3% of women water break naturally

Yes. I was in active labor for 8 hours and was at an 8 before the doctor broke my water. 40 minutes later I had my bundle <3

My water broke while I was pushing. Hubby said it went really far, lol. Best wishes to you if it is early for baby. 💛

yup. my mil didn't experience her water breaking with either kid until the doctor broke it. she was dilated to a 10 with my husband when she got to the hospital and still had no broken water.

mine didn't break until after I started pushing. my midwife was prepping for a dry birth.

Update: The nurse just gave me a shot to stop the contractions, hopefully I can go home soon if they stop, they are waiting to see how my body will take the shot and then hopefully the doctor will get here and see me.

I got sent home, stayed at a 1, so they said if the contractions start again then to go back, hopefully they don't because my baby girl is too small, she's only 3lbs
