How did people stop smoking?! Doctor told me it's better to slow down

I just put them down..I smoked one a day until about 20 weeks. after that one day I just didn't! then I didn't the next day

A lot of people said not to quite cold turkey because it'll hurt worse to just slowly stop and your baby is ok ?

I talked to my baby doctor I told her I went from a pack a day to or two

What's ttc?

My husband deploys on Friday and I believe then I'll stop . Completely

I stopped smoking weed and cigarettes cold turkey about three months before getting pregnant. Just woke up one day and said I was done. It was hard considering the house I lived in everyone smoked so I was surrounded by it all day. But I just thought of my husband who was stationed across the states and I wanted to quite before I moved to be with him. Thats what kept me motivated.

I quit the day I found out! The ONLY reason it would be bad for you not to stop would be if you were like 5 months along already, but your not and your placenta hasn't even started forming so it's best to stop now. For you & baby!
