No not at all. My body knew the exact moment that I was supposed to go into labor. I'd never want to tamper with that just because I'm impatient (which I was. Nearly cried everyday I went overdue lol). It was amazing to see what my body can do.. Just the fact that my entire being knew when to have this baby amazes me. Induction makes labor more difficult anyway. The extra week was worth it and actually well needed.
Absolutely not. Due dates are estimated. So, who's to say it wasn't two weeks off? Your body will know. An induction is 50% more likely to end in c-section. And, c-sections since the 50's have quadrupled! It's because back then, ladies just listened to their bodies. Now, we all jump on the induction bandwagon and everyone practically leaves being cut open. Doctors make triple off a c-section than a regular birth, so doctors like to offer induction knowing full well that their pockets are going to get heavier .
