I asked the nurse and she didn't answer me but what are these do any you mommies know the percentile…

She's 98% in height

And 87% in weight

She's 98% taller than most babies her age, and she is 87% heavier than kids her age. 50% would be average

I believe her bmi though is average if that makes sense. Like the combined height and weight is good.

I don't think they really think percentiles are a big deal unless they're in an abnormally high percentile in the womb because it can complicate delivery or a really low percentile because they need to make sure that the child is growing and getting the nutrients they need.

They look at percentiles if they are worried about something for example my daughter for weight is around the 25th percentile but since she has been that way since birth they are not worried that's just the way she is.
