40 weeks + 5 days today! I have an appt at 1 pm for a NST & to talk about maybe inducing. Praying…

I had my daughter within 48 hours after the first sign of my bloody show!☺️

@jleightutt, That's what I'm hoping!! 😊 I really don't want to be induced, my labor stalled with my first so they had to give me pitocin then I had a failed epidural so it was HELL. 😩

Pitocin is the worst! I got the epidural and then and then they broke my water and after a few hours, I wasn't progressing much so they started pitocin... which wasn't a big deal at first because of the epidural... then the epidural pretty much stopped working and I had maxed out my meds so I was stuck feeling those horrible contractions😳 I ended up with a csection anyway🙄 but it really wasn't as bad as some people make it out to be. This time around I'll have to have a planned csection because I got pregnant so soon. And I'm kind of excited about knowing the exact day I'll have this baby😂

@jleightutt, I don't like pitocin at all lol it made my contractions come fast & HARD! I honestly wouldn't mind a c section, but I so scared because I have a 2 year old at home already & I'm afraid I won't be able to handle him.

That's what I've heard! Ugh I don't understand people who WANT to be induced🙄 I mean like you're overdue so you probably just want that baby out... but some of these girls😒 anyway, yeah that would make it a little more difficult. The biggest thing is making sure you take your meds and take it easy. If you had help for at least the first week, that would be great for you.

@jleightutt, Yeah I don't want to force him out, I'm scared he's not ready but at the same time I'm scared of risking anything going wrong from being over due! Idk, I overthink everything 😂 And yeah, my husband & MIL will be here to help, I just hate the thought of telling my son no if he wants picked up or played with, but I'll do anything to get my baby here safely 😊
