hey mommies, im new to the group, new to motherhood (15wks, 2days) and a new wife...2016 has been a very blessed year for me!
Question: I wake up every morning without fail with a Charlie Horse in my left leg mostly. is it something I can do to prevent this? I recall my dr mentioning I may get them during pregnancy. thanks!
Drinking a ton of water stopped mine. I noticed I was getting them when i stopped drinking water a few hours before bed in an effort to not have to get up and pee in the middle of the night. Now I just keep a water bottle next to the bed and deal with the 2 am bathroom breaks. Those Charlie horses are killer!
yaahhhh@mommyofsoontob3 You are due in March too? Before preggyland I was very active in fitness. Then I just slowed down to a stop suddenly. Pregnancy is something I definitely got to get used too. My dr and staff just laugh at my very blunt questions on everything going with my body
i thought it maybe a potassium issue. I started back working iut yesterday and my right foot cramped so bad uugghhh. Bananas are far from my favorite but I will definitely tough it out and eat them. Thanks @teambarnes
Bananas are a life saver in pregnancy especially for these muscle cramps!
Drink lots of water and when you're laying in bed before you sleep, move your legs and stretch them out. I get them too and they're painful!
