How to calm a 3 week old I literally just let him cry himself to sleep idk what to do and I don't have any patience at all
My daughter did that for awhile we found that when we turned on the shower she stopped . It was the only thing to stop her... it's like she was amazed with the sound. I heard fans, vacuums, and dryers can help too. Or maybe get some gas drops when I tried everything and she would still cry I gave her drops and she stopped turns out it was gas I'm guessing . Something could be hurting your baby. You'll find a solution sooner or later don't give up im the same way I have zero patience when she would cry on and on I'd hand her to my boyfriend pissed off I would ever tell her "what do you want ?! " " I don't know what you want!" Then I ended up crying because I felt super bad for getting frustrated with her because that was her only way of trying to tell me something :/
I thought I learned my daughters body language by now but honestly she JUST switched it up on me lol like for me too she doesn't like her swing anymore😂
Yeah even the swing he cries ! Lol but I guess I just have to learn him it just gets so frustrating @belle6414
@nikilauren, my husband works around the time he wants to start crying and don't come home until 10am but he's calm by then. So it's just me only but last night I came to my moms house and I just had him crying and she just came and got him.
I strap my baby in her swing and that calms her or flashing lights. oh and just looking out the window or being outside helps my baby
wat if u give him a bath? my cub was the same but since it only happens from 11pm to 3am they didnt diagnose him as colicky. apparently if its all day everyday then its colic. but i would have myself for an hr than my hubby for the rest because frustration and newborns dont mix....but crying happens of wat they do.
is he constipated? have u tried gripe water.. don't CIO .. when my daughter used to cry ..I would hand her off to my sister or my niece and regrouped.. does the baby have colic.. if its a constant thing you should bring it up to.the doctor.
Girl I know :( my son will be up for hours sometimes just crying and i get so frustrated. Do you have someone else that can take him for like 20 mins while you step away and take a shower or something? Lol that helps me and in turn helps baby. I've noticed the more frustrated I am, the more frustrated my baby gets.
@nikilauren, I do hold him too. But sometimes it's to much I just let him cry
Yeah when he gets that way I just leave him because I don't know what to do. I think he will stop crying but he doesn't. Smh @delis619
@lilfree16, I tried all of that he just wants to cry still and I gave him my boob to comfort him but he still kept crying
I do but he wasn't having it. He was already full and he didn't even want the boob @jayare
He probably just wants to be held. My son gets extremely fussy sometimes and that's all he wants. What I usually do is walk around the house with him until he calms down, then I'll give him a pacifier or breastfeed and sit in bed and hold him and rock him until he falls asleep.
I had to let mine cry it out. My patience is little to nothing. When I try everything I get frustrated and let him cry. But I just figured out that when he's being difficult it's because he wants me to hold and rock him. It's bad on my knees but after an hour he's out cold
don't let your baby CIO. crying is their only way of communicating. I remember a night when I was rocking my daughter almost the whole night .. like pp said if you're breast-feeding ..it's comforting to them, use a soothies, bicycle kicks , baby massage , see if they have to burp
I've noticed it calms my baby and falls asleep in a few. cause I'm on the same boat.
Yeah I have no patience! But I feel bad too when I get mad and be like what do you want lol. It's very frustrating! But yeah it's hard not to give up. But I won't@maleahsmommy .
