@holliesinead, so having done the baby/holiday thing would you say it was a good idea? My oh wants to go way next summer and our baby will be maybe 7/8 months, is it too much hard work lol? He waves to go and stay at our friends mums villa in Spain so we would have home comforts at least xx

@hawkie75, I'm going to do a blog about it when I've got a chance to go into more detail but yes it was much easier than I thought it would to be a certain extent the plane part was the easiest he slept the entire time both ways i found the hardest thing was cleaning the bottles/ we did run out and have to pay €25 for powder! So make sure you bring out enough milk and food/ also the hotel we was at wasn't very baby friendly good for kids but if your staying at a villa it will probes be easier/ keeping him out of the sun was quite hard at some times but as long as the head is covered that's fine and they're smothered in sun cream/ use a stroller instead of a buggy we made the stupid mistake bringing ours it was a nightmare to lug around but TBH it's not the baby that's the hard work it's being a parent and constantly worrying something is wrong or what will go and at the end your like why didn't I just relax more because everything turned out fine xx

@holliesinead, thanks so much, I took my son years ago at 18 months to Portugal, and it was fine, and I agree you need a very lightweight stroller. Glad you had a nice holiday xxx

werr going to my OHs mum and dads at lanzarote in may then Cyprus in july to see my family. going in school hols each time as my sons in highschool now. Hettie is a little diva already at 5 weeks. got the pet lip to a T and will not go down. arms of steel now 💪💪 haha. xx
